Motel Pod Kominkiem

Ants in the room bothered me most, especially since I wasn’t alone. I told the receptionist, and she just thanked me for letting her know. In a real hotel, they would have been hysterical and apologized first. The room was cramped, with no wardrobe for clothes, and one of the wardrobes was falling apart. I’d asked for a double bed and got two singles. The bed itself had another minor issue, the curtain rod was crooked, and various things were hung incorrectly or didn’t fit together. I knew it was a motel and didn’t expect luxury. I’ve stayed in all sorts of places around the world, but this was the first time I’d found ants in a rental. The parking lot is tight. They could have renovated the room instead of having a TV like that. Even for one night, it was a disaster. This place should be closed. I definitely don’t recommend it.

For the price, I’d recommend it. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the water was really hot. We only stayed one night, but the room was warm, very clean, and smelled great. The one downside was the train noise, if you’re not used to it.

Fine for a one night stay if you have a car, and there’s parking available. The rooms are clean, though they feel like they’re from the communist era. The price does match the quality.
