2025 The food in the restaurant was superb, and breakfast was good too. The location makes it easy to reach all the attractions, and the staff were friendly and efficient. I stayed a few nights in September and would definitely return to Torun. In the main building, the room was modern and clean, though there was no air conditioning in the bedroom. A large fan helped, but it was noisy. The main building, which I visited, is a beautifully restored granary dating from 1719, with original beams and ceilings and a restored winching apparatus on the top floor. There's also an annex, which I didn't enter.

The food was delicious, especially breakfast and desserts, and the decor has a charming, carefully put-together look. Everything in the old town is within walking distance. My only gripe was the dinner waiter, who fell short on service.

The breakfast had a wide selection that should suit plenty of tastes, and the dining area's design and atmosphere were pleasant. My room was exceptionally clean, cleaner than I've found in some higher-rated hotels, and the bed was comfortable. It had all the amenities I needed, and the staff I met were friendly and helpful. The hotel sits right by the medieval gate in the heart of Torun's old town, with cafes and restaurants a short walk away, which made sightseeing easy. A very decent stay, with cleanliness and breakfast variety standing out.

The old building gives the hotel a lot of charm, and its location beside the city center is very convenient. My room had a classic style, a comfortable bed, and a small desk. The sauna was exceptional.

The dining room was very nice, and the staff were professional and helpful. My room looked out over the river. The renovation of this former commercial building is fascinating, with beautiful brickwork and huge, sturdy old wooden beams, about 14 by 14 feet.
