Vistula Apartments felt like a home away from home. The furnishings were tasteful, and the English-speaking staff were wonderfully helpful. We were there for almost a week, which gave us time to see most of Torun’s great attractions. They’re all in the Old Town and an easy stroll away. Much of the Old Town is traffic free, with lots of alfresco dining. There’s a convenience store in the same block and a Tesco supermarket a short walk up the road. We didn’t spend much time cooking, though, since several restaurants in town served bacon and eggs for breakfast for $3. Highly recommended.

Apartment 4s is nicely furnished and stylish, and it’s close to the market square. The trouble is that it shares a connection with the neighboring apartment through a door, so you can hear everything. The refrigerator also didn’t work while we were there, and the owners neither repaired it nor compensated us for the inconvenience. I came away feeling they didn’t care about their customers.

Apartment 1 is clean, modern, and close to the center. But showering floods the bathroom, the coffee machine works only sometimes, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t work.
