For anyone who likes cycling, there are several bike paths nearby. We’d suggest heading toward the national park through the village of Martew. Tuczno itself is peaceful, with a few places to eat and small grocery shops. Just 3 km north of town, Ludwig chocolate factory has a little shop where you can buy their products at bargain prices. Well worth a stop! Pasjonat has a different feel from many places. It reminded us a little of the old hippie days, with no obligations, rules, or limits, though it’s clearly looked after. The hosts, Leszek and Kasia, give guests space, but you can have a chat with them and learn interesting things about the area and their history. Kasia is a great talker, and we wished we’d had more time with her since we only met once. Leszek looks like Brad Pitt 2.0 and has a music studio in the cellar. We didn’t get to see it, but other guests were impressed.

We were able to swim as much as we liked in the peaceful surroundings, and the encounters with nature were special. Even with the difficult weather, we had a wonderful holiday in Tuczno and the area around it. The passionate TU welcomed us into beautiful interiors with a musical feel. Thanks to the owners for being so hospitable. I’d recommend it for a solo trip or a family visit.

The kitchen is very well equipped, and the interiors are both creative and practical, with lots to inspire. What the owners say about Pasjonat really is true. We came as a family, and everyone had a lovely time, from our 90-year-old senior to the youngest person in the group. It was peaceful and welcoming, just wonderful 💕.
