We were pleasantly surprised by Awilla. It’s in a peaceful area, and you can easily walk to the sea. The rooms are nice, the breakfast was good, and the backyard is lovely, with a playground and volleyball. You can also rent bikes, and there’s a sauna and hot tub. The service was great overall. It isn’t a five-star hotel, and you’re not paying for one, so I’m sure you’ll be happy as long as you keep that in mind.

The staff were so friendly, and the food was very good. The rooms were spotless and it’s close to the beach.

The people we met are what made this place special. The receptionist was world class from the moment we arrived, the kind of person five-star places could learn from. The woman in the restaurant was just as lovely, warm, and welcoming, and the homemade food was delicious. We’ll remember the stay fondly, especially the people. The owner of Avila is lucky to have them. Thank you! I mixed a business trip with a short break with my wife and daughter, and we stayed just one night. For the price, the room worked well, especially having the bed in a separate room. I could get some work done in the evening without waking the girls, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We also used the children’s playroom, and I enjoyed the cozy sauna. I definitely recommend it.
