Pokoje Gościnne Liv Marina

The bathroom was a disaster, and noise was another problem. The rooms are meant to be soundproof, but during our two nights we could hear someone banging around in the kitchen. The shared kitchen itself has very cheap appliances, and the whole place feels more like staff accommodation. We saw the owner once, when we arrived. The room was cold despite the heater, and I wouldn't choose this place in winter. The double bed was two single beds pushed together, and as a couple we were given separate duvets.

I had a really nice stay at Liv Marina and will remember it fondly. I stayed in winter, and the room was both warm and clean. I don't understand why some people warn others against coming then.

The hosts are easy to deal with and very friendly. The sea is a fair distance away, but the neighborhood is quiet and residential. There are bikes and hiking poles available, and the kitchenette is well equipped with a fridge, oven, microwave, and hob. The ground-floor rooms are large, with access to the square, and have big bathrooms with showers. There are also screens in the rooms. The place is open all year.

The main drawback is how far things are. It's about a 30-minute walk to the center of Ustka, and roughly 20 minutes to the beach in Przewłoka, where the guesthouse is. Bikes can be rented, but they're only suitable for short errands like shopping. I wouldn't use them for longer rides. The owner was polite and helpful. The guesthouse was clean, the room was pleasant, functional and well arranged, and the shared kitchen had a good range of equipment.
