Imperiall Resort & MediSpa

We’ve stayed here twice, and I don’t have much to criticize overall. The rooms are very clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is great, close to the beach and other attractions. There are two playgrounds, and the spa is clean with a warm pool for children. My main concern is the cleanliness of the kitchen items. The utensils were oily and dirty, especially the kids’ forks, spoons, and plates. Luckily, we had brought our own for feeding them. The high chairs were dirty every time, too. The door by the spa entrance was left open all the time. I could understand that if it were very hot, but it caused a strong draft. Even as an adult I worried about getting sick, since people take their children back and forth between the pool and their rooms. I think the doors should be kept closed.

The beach is only a three-minute walk away, and you can move between the buildings through connecting corridors without going outside or needing a jacket. We had a long weekend here and were very happy with the service. We arrived after 7 PM on Thursday, past the 4-7 PM dinner time included with our half-board. The receptionist said we’d missed dinner, but he’d asked the kitchen to make something for us. Soon after we reached our room, food arrived, enough for five even though there were just two of us. It was a lovely gesture, and it tasted great. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent, with plenty of choice. The dining room was spacious and never felt crowded, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The furnishings in our comfortable room felt more like a 3-star than a 4-star. The pool is a standard hotel size, up to 1.3 meters deep, and there are two saunas and a jacuzzi. Bathrobes were in the room, and pool towels could be picked up at reception by the pool. There’s also a very friendly hotel cat who loves cuddles, which I always see as a bonus. Parking is available for a fee.

The rooftop bar and restaurant were magnificent, with lovely sea and sunset views. The spa and breakfast were amazing too. The place was clean and relaxing, the location was perfect, and the staff were so friendly. I’d definitely recommend it.

There’s plenty to do here if you want an active holiday: you can rent a bike, walk through the nearby forest by the sea, or take the kids to the playground. The hotel itself has a pool and fitness center, and the restaurant serves delicious food. It’s in a nice spot, close to both the sea and the forest.
