Chochlik

We came back, and had another lovely stay. It’s relaxed, homey, and full of atmosphere, just right for a quiet getaway. The host can suggest places to visit and eat, and he’s also a freelance artist who makes beautiful paintings and other things. Rooms are clean, have private bathrooms, and look out over the mountains. Worth a visit.

A room with a mountain view, breakfast available to buy, and a very helpful, friendly owner made for a lovely stay. You can even scratch the pixie cat behind the ears, and the place is generally pet-friendly. It’s an atmospheric spot where it’s easy to relax, and a good base for trips to Solina and nearby places. Highly recommend it.

Paweł is a welcoming, genuinely nice host :D The place sits on a hill away from the busy road, and the room has a view. It’s clean and comfortable, with birds singing for free in the morning and evening. That mattress was so comfortable I didn’t want to get out of bed ;) Whenever I’m in the Bieszczady Mountains, I’ll choose Chochlik again. I recommend it.

The walls are thin, so at night we could hear a neighbor snoring on the other side of the room, and at 7 a.m. there were kids shouting and running around next door. Otherwise, the room was clean and tidy, and the staff were very friendly, especially the helpful gentleman. Breakfast was nice and cost 20 PLN per person on top of the room price. There are lots of board games for the evenings. The bed was very, very soft, which some people might see as a plus.
