Orlikowe Wzgórze

We could hardly finish the breakfasts, they were that delicious. The place itself is quiet and makes a convenient base for getting to all the trails. Everything was great, and the owner and my husband were both very nice.

The breakfasts were divine, especially the jams and preserves from Mrs. Halinka, which we still miss. After a day in the mountains, we could relax at the playground or in the clean, well-equipped children's playroom. There's even a highchair in the dining room for toddlers. Our family room was spacious and very clean, with comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom had plenty of cabinets, and our child had a step stool, potty, and toilet seat ready to use. The atmosphere was so pleasant that it was easy to relax and enjoy ourselves. A perfect base for a Bieszczady Mountains trip with kids.

Nestled in Rabe amid the beautiful Bieszczady Mountains, Orlikowe Wzgórze has a lovely, family-friendly atmosphere. The food from Ms. Halina is delicious, and the hosts are always there to keep guests company. We wholeheartedly recommend a visit. ANIA AND JÓZEF ŻORY.

At night, you can hear a stream from the balcony, and there’s a gallery just beyond the fence where you can admire and buy works by three generations. The hosts made our stay especially enjoyable: they shared helpful tips on attractions, places to visit, and trails, which helped us plan each day. Evenings brought a quiet gazebo barbecue, lots of laughter, and conversations about life in the Bieszczady Mountains and elsewhere. They also invited us to Mass at the Catholic church next door, and the former mayor and guide eagerly told us about its history. We didn't have time to climb Orlikowe Wzgórze (Eagle Hill), so we’ll need to return and start our next stay there. Thank you, Halinka and Mariusz! See you soon, Ania, Marek, and Dawid. There was plenty to enjoy at the property too: two swimming pools, one smaller for children, a playroom and playground, a very large balcony, and well-kept grounds. Our room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was varied and balanced, with nearly always at least two hot dishes. Fresh rolls, pancakes, crumpets, hot dogs, three kinds of homemade jam, smoked meats, and dairy products were among the options. There were cereals, Nutella, and local honey for the kids. Soft music from Stare Dobre Małżeństwo added to the atmosphere. Orlikowe Wzgórze (Eaglet Hill) in Rabe is a wonderful place to stay and eat, and we enjoyed the food and surroundings.
