I wouldn’t stay here again. The place was extremely dirty, and the shared toilet was clogged with diarrhea everywhere. I nearly threw up when I went in after waking up. Disgusting. The shower water also wouldn’t drain, and I can only imagine there was a huge dreadlock blocking the pipes.

There was only one towel and no shampoo. The room feels worn out, like lots of people have lived in it. The chairs, furniture, and floor are all showing it. The sink is so small it seems made for children. I had to bend way down to wash my face, and when water got onto the floor, I had to wipe it up with toilet paper. The glass holder above the sink is broken, so I don’t know why it’s even there. There’s nowhere for toiletries in the shower either, so you have to balance them on the faucet and hope they stay put. No minibar, and nowhere to keep food. The receptionist seemed to have forgotten how to smile. When I checked in, though, the guy was very pleasant and charismatic. Maybe she was just holding back. It reminded me again that saving money on comfort isn’t worth it.

Room 5 made for a restless night because it’s right beside the street and passing cars are loud. The room felt bare, with little beyond a bed and water for the shower. There was no shampoo, body soap, tissue box, or slippers, and nowhere in the toilet area to set toiletries. We got one towel per person and no floor mat. The shower, toilet, and handwash are squeezed into a space only 1 meter by 1 meter, which was really inconvenient. The place felt like it hadn’t been set up thoughtfully for guests. Staff were generally friendly, but the language barrier made communication difficult. I booked a double or twin room and expected more from somewhere claiming to be 2-star. I’d look elsewhere for a more comfortable stay.

I liked the decor, and the receptionist was nice and efficient. Breakfast was simple but lovely, with toast, jam, cheese, ham, basil, tea, and coffee. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was small but worked fine. There was an electric kettle and teacups, plus a coat hanger and space for clothes.
