The welcoming vibe comes from the friendly, open people, and the place feels modern, clean, and well looked after. The lobby is roomy and nicely put together, with a cozy private room for relaxing or hanging out with others. Warsaw Hostel Centrum is right in the middle of the city, next to the Palace of Culture and Science. I'd stay here again, and recommend it for its location, cleanliness, style, and atmosphere.

My first time staying in a hostel dorm went really well. It was clean, tidy, and quiet, and all the staff were kind. The location also worked well for exploring beautiful Warsaw. Highly recommended!

The six-bed room was cramped, with barely any air and just a small window. Its mattress was old, lumpy, and uneven, and I have photos. The whole building smelled damp and moldy, which made it feel unhealthy to stay there. The blonde receptionist was dismissive and rude, as if guests were a nuisance. She said I'd get a refund if I checked out, but I followed her instructions and got nothing back. Dirty, dishonest, and unprofessional. Stay somewhere else.

The bed in the 10-person dorm was okay and there was a private locker, though curtains for privacy would have helped. The bathroom in that dorm is tiny and dirty, so I'd use the one on the floor below. During my three-night stay, one man was drunk and snored loudly for the first three nights. On the last night, someone kept snoozing a 5 a.m. alarm every two minutes, so I didn't sleep. People may take things from the fridge, so don't leave anything there. Some staff don't speak English. There was also a group of kids, probably on a school trip, and I felt a bit worried about them given the sort of people around.
