Crowne Plaza Warsaw - The HUB

The evening piano music gave the place a lovely atmosphere, and from the 20th floor the city lights at night looked incredible, almost like a fairy tale. We did have no water for the whole day, but they made up for it with a complimentary breakfast, which was appreciated. The hotel has its ups and downs, but that view and the atmosphere really stayed with me.

Thanks for hosting us during the Camp America fair and helping make yesterday memorable. As an associate, I was glad to be staying at the hotel. The staff were on the ball, helpful, proactive, and easy to communicate with, and the interior was a great fit for a fair like this.

Breakfast is good, but on busy mornings the staff don't clear dishes or wipe crumbs from the tables quickly enough. Since you seat yourself, finding a place can be hard when dirty dishes are left everywhere. The gym also gets crowded in the morning, and it's poorly organized. Cardio options include two treadmills, two stationary bikes, and an elliptical, but those get occupied. There are dumbbells up to 25 kg without a rack, a barbell and squat rack with large rubber plates, one proper bench, and another bench-shaped piece of furniture that's no good. Power lifters may find it lacking, though most people should manage. There's a large box jump, plus kettlebells that are quite light, up to 10 kg as I recall. They have lots of Pilates gear that nobody seems to use, and no decent storage, so it makes a mess. The water also runs out all the time. I think they don't know how to check it, since the jug still looks full, but its spout has a tube that sits above the water and leaves the water at the bottom unusable.

My flight was canceled, so I missed the Happy New Year’s Eve I’d booked and paid for in advance. I asked whether I could get any money back, since there wasn't a policy covering this. I'll look for better options next time.
