WARNING, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! We opened our room with the code we’d been given and found other guests already inside, with all their belongings there. After we contacted the property, we spent 45 minutes on the stairway in 30-degree heat before they offered us another room. Then, a little after midnight, I got a message saying other people had checked into our original room because it was open. That left us feeling unsafe, and we slept with a chair against the door handle so it couldn’t be opened. The next day, we were told to move our things back to the original room, but not until after 12:00. We had tickets for attractions and a concert, so we explained we’d be out then and wouldn’t return until around midnight. We asked to stay in the room we’d been moved to for another night. They suggested the cleaning lady could transfer our things, but we politely said no because we weren’t comfortable having someone go through our belongings. We were already away from the hotel, waiting for the attractions, and our things were still unpacked in the room. When I explained that, they gave us two choices: come back to move our belongings, or come back and collect them because they threatened to kick us out. We had no real option, so we returned and moved everything. We had to cancel our plans for the day and lost the money we’d paid for the tickets. After all that, they still wouldn’t offer any kind of refund. P.S. The air conditioner is full of mold, and the room curtain doesn’t block the sunlight.
