Fry House

Public transport is convenient, especially the tram, and for the price the stay could have been much worse. The room was comfortable and kept in good condition, and the bathroom was a real highlight, lovely and spotless. Parking was a major downside because there weren’t enough spaces. The thin walls also meant we could hear arriving guests and the main receptionist during the night. Then there was an unexpected fire alarm early in the morning, and nobody seemed to be doing anything about it. It was confusing, though we were leaving then anyway.

The room was cramped, the bed uncomfortable, and the facilities were poor. Even though the location is central, it didn’t make up for the dirty bathrooms and unpleasant smell in the rooms. Wi-Fi barely worked, and noise kept disturbing us at night, so sleeping was impossible. When I asked staff about the problems, they were rude and unhelpful. I was very disappointed with this hostel and won’t return or recommend it. This gives a clear idea of the issues while sounding polite yet firm.

We stayed as a family of three, and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The reception lady was kind and attentive, and the hotel’s location is handy, close to tram and bus stops, with markets and restaurants nearby. There’s a large shared kitchen with stoves, microwaves, fridges, plates, glasses, cutlery, and more. We made our own breakfast there. Thanks for everything. The one thing we missed was a fridge or minibar in the room. We don’t really care about having a TV, but a little fridge would be great.

The location worked especially well for our concert at Progresja, just five minutes away. There’s also a nearby bus station and Fort Wola shopping center. I stayed with my sister in a double twin room. It was roomy, with lots of shelves and cupboards for our things, and the beds were comfortable. We had to share a bathroom with another room, so it wasn’t always available when we needed it. Still, it was clean, smelled nice, and had all the necessities. The staff were respectful and very nice, and the service was good.
