The rooms were comfortable, spacious, clean and well maintained. The hotel premises are large, the terraces are beautiful, and I had a great experience. The elevator is a bit slow, though. The location is great, close to nearly everything in the new town and not too far from the old town. The reception staff were very helpful and kind, except for the man in charge of luggage and the luggage room. He stayed angry, kept shouting for no reason, and nagged and argued in Polish. He didn’t know how to speak English. I’d advise the hotel to reconsider him and expect someone in that role to be welcoming.

The hotel bar had a limited drink selection, but the lobby was nice and spacious. The rooms were fairly basic, though the shower was great and powerful. The location is very central for bars and shopping, with a museum and spa opposite, a nice way to start and end your trip. I stayed for a long weekend with friends.

We spent a weekend there in the first week of December. The room was clean and roomy, and breakfast had plenty to pick from. The welcome was friendly too. The location worked perfectly for us, with the big square, Stalin Tower and Christmas market on one side, and the old town in the other direction.

The central location made getting around Warsaw easy, whether we wanted public transport, restaurants, shops, or the main sights. Inside, the hotel felt organized and professionally run, and the staff were polite and efficient at check-in and throughout our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and practical, with everything well maintained. A dependable choice that I’d happily book again.

The breakfast was the standout, with a really wide selection. My room, number 167, was one of the slightly larger ones. The place is showing its age, but it was clean and quiet, and the price seemed fair. Gromada is an average three-star hotel near bars and restaurants. Transit takes a little longer to reach, though it’s still reasonable.
