Hotel Bellotto

The room itself was nice, though the hairdryer was very poor quality. The service was the bigger issue. Staff seemed indifferent, and sometimes rude or unhelpful. I called reception to ask for breakfast in the room; they first agreed, then rang back a few minutes later and told me to contact the restaurant, without giving me its number. Staff training needs improvement so guests can get a more welcoming and helpful experience.

I lost confidence in booking Hotel Bellotto before the stay even began. I was trying to confirm important details for a visit only a few days away, which I had explained was for my birthday, but after initial WhatsApp replies the hotel went silent for three days and eventually answered by email. Even then, they wouldn't confirm basic things like room size or view before payment, despite rooms ranging from 27 to 42 m². For a hotel presenting itself as luxury, the communication and care were far below what I expected. I decided not to book and wouldn't consider staying there.

I get that parking near Warsaw Old Town costs 10 PLN an hour. But after paying 50 PLN to charge my car, I was also billed 20 PLN for 1.5 hours of parking. Charging someone for parking while they're already paying to charge an EV seems unreasonable. Honestly, what a joke.

When my fiance got sick on our second day in Warsaw, the staff helped arrange a doctor in our room and even went out to fill our four prescriptions. They were exceptional throughout, and the maid service was just as good. The hotel is beautiful, with a spacious, well-appointed room. Breakfast was delicious, and the dinner we had there was very good too. Definitely a 5 star hotel. I look forward to staying again.
