ibis Warszawa Centrum

The room was very clean, the shower was nice, staff were really friendly, and breakfast tasted good. The location was good too. There was a scary alarm in the middle of the night. We were told to wait for further instructions, but none ever came, and the issue was never explained or resolved. The pillows weren't great, and there was only one per person. The blanket was heavy and made of material that wasn't very nice. Rooms facing the street get pretty noisy from very early in the morning, even with the window open only a tiny bit.

The reception team was the best part of the stay. I made a booking mistake for another Ibis hotel, and they helped me fix it quickly, in a friendly and professional way. The rest of the staff were polite and helpful as well. Getting around was easy with tram and bus stops close by. The room was good, better than at some other Ibis hotels I've stayed in, and it had plenty of power sockets.

The best parts were the quiet, clean room and an extremely comfortable bed. We also found the location excellent, close to transport and shops. We had a very good stay and would gladly come back. A few things could be better: the tea in the room should be replenished, and the bed linen change could be improved. At check-in, we were first given a different room category from the one we'd booked, though that was sorted out. We also ordered food from the hotel, but the staff didn't know how to apply my loyalty card for points or discounts.

The restaurant food was good, and the room was comfortable. It's around a 20 minute walk to the centre, with trams and buses close by. Good hotel, I'd recommend it.
