They texted me asking me to cancel the reservation because they couldn’t provide us with accommodation. The message came from a number that couldn’t be connected to their business. I did cancel, as requested, then contacted Booking, but they said they couldn’t do anything. It seems they realized they could rent the apartment to someone else for more on New Year’s Eve. If it comes to that, we’d pay, but we won’t book here again. I covered the end of the phone number because I don’t want them to report me.

There’s parking in the basement, and the apartment itself is nice, cozy, and has a kitchen and balcony. It’s conveniently located in the city center.

The beds were uncomfortable, and there was an electrical socket coming loose from the wall. The kitchen had very little equipment, with no towels and dirty dishes. Parking was limited to one car. One of the two toilets worked, the shower wasn’t practical and felt like a fall risk, and there was no Wi-Fi.
