We booked because the pictures looked lovely, showing a reception and a luxurious lobby, but the place we arrived at was a different building at a different address. Shortly before check-in, we got a letter in Polish, a language I don't understand, telling us to figure things out ourselves and giving another address. By then we were tired and it was too late to find somewhere else, so we had to stay there. The company name, address, and photos on Booking.com looked nothing like reality. The building looked completely different from the one pictured, and I suspect they used photos of another accommodation to attract customers. We feel cheated and want compensation. The building was still being fitted out, and the elevator was covered in wooden panels.

I left after just one day. The apartment was awful and nowhere near worth the money. The kitchen was filthy, the fridge was covered in mold, and the cutlery hadn't even been cleaned. The toilet was dirty and moldy, water escaped the shower despite the walls, and there were cotton buds or just general dirt around. There was black hair and staining on the bed, and the bedroom wasn't practical. The door handle was missing, and the service was rude. The worst apartment I've ever stayed in. Never again.

The location is handy, with easy access to the Old Town and train station, and the apartment has potential for a larger group. But that credit goes to whoever bought it. I was given this as a replacement after booking a more luxurious place in a newer building. Two weeks before the trip, they said I couldn't stay there for some procedural reason. The replacement was cheaper, as I could see on Booking.com and AirBnb, but they wouldn't refund the difference. The apartment has bedbugs. A month later, the bite marks were still visible, and the photo showed my hands after a week. There was also a bathroom smell, dirty dishes, and too few dishes for a group. The dishwasher's 30-minute cycle didn't clean them. The WiFi didn't work, though it might have been fixed near the end of my stay. Small repairs were needed too: shelves and boards needed attaching, the front door handle needed attention, broken items like the kitchen kettle should be thrown out, and the blinds needed cleaning. But I guess business is business, and fixing things would mean the apartment couldn't earn money for a while.

The room was clean and easy to get into, and the price seemed reasonable. It had an iron, microwave, fridge, hob, and dishwasher, which was important. I can't really find anything to complain about.
