P&O Podwale Apartments

I’m still not even in Warsaw, and already stressed because the property won’t send the access code details, despite my having paid in advance. I booked through Booking and I’m shocked and really upset.

The bathroom at 12 Miodowa smelled strongly of sewage. When I complained, management said it was an old building, but we’d used bathrooms in other old buildings during this trip without anything remotely this bad. The bedroom floor was rotten enough that you sank as you walked. Paint was peeling, the walls were marked, and numbers were missing from the apartment door. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment in Old Town, and it was one of the most disgusting places I’ve been. Management clearly doesn’t care about keeping the properties in good shape or working properly. It’s a dump, and I couldn’t wait to leave. Don’t book with this company, stay somewhere else. The staff’s attitude was even worse than the state of the property we rented. If negative scores were allowed, that’s what I’d give them.

At 2 am we were stuck searching for somewhere else to stay. They gave us the wrong keys, and nobody picked up the phone. A nightmare, I don’t recommend them.
