I got a reservation confirmation after booking an apartment through Booking.com. Then, on check-in day, I was told to pay a 1,000 PLN security deposit, either by bank transfer or in cash at the office. The listing on Booking.com never mentioned an extra deposit, and its terms prohibit payments outside the platform. This is a scam. Don't use this landlord's services.
