Triton Apartments in Warsaw near Airport

The polite reception staff did try to help, and that's the only reason this gets one star. They couldn't make up for how unsafe, uncomfortable and badly maintained the property felt. For stays over 10 days, they require a 500 PLN cash deposit. We arrived late at night with everything prepaid, but they still refused check-in without cash. A security guard actually told us to “sleep outside.” Luckily, a nearby ATM was still open. Otherwise we'd have been out wandering with our luggage or sleeping on the street. The rooms were dirty, worn and nothing like the photos: chipped walls, filthy curtains and sticky bathroom floors. The first room was disgusting. Extra cleaning improved it a little, but didn't address the bigger problems. Even the “better” rooms had broken or barely working air conditioning, unbearable in summer. The elevators were slow and unreliable, and their touch buttons often didn't work. Noise was frightening too. Some apartments aren't part of Triton Park, so the party rules go ignored. One night, drunk groups ran through the halls shouting, throwing bottles and blasting music. We were scared and couldn't sleep until staff finally moved us to another room. Don't expect a calm or secure stay.

Self check-in made it easy to get into the room, and the location was decent, but I don't have a good reason to recommend this place. It felt more like an Airbnb than a hotel or apart-hotel. The room was okay, though dated, a little damaged and not very clean. It looked nothing like the photos on Google. The fitted sheet was so old and covered in fabric pills that it was unbearable to sleep on. The towels were black, but their age still showed. One had a very obvious stain, likely bleach, and in my opinion it shouldn't have been given to guests.

We found the place spacious, modern and clean, and it was affordable too. There's a reception during the day, plus a book in the apartment with all the written information in three languages. The central Warsaw location worked well, and parking is available if you reserve it. Good for a couple, with kitchen appliances for making meals. I strongly recommend it.

The huge balcony and its wonderful city view were the highlight for me. The hotel was nice for a short, comfortable stay, though it seemed a little old and there were already some minor scratches and damage in the room.
