The location was excellent, but the lack of both electricity and Wi-Fi caused real problems. We were given access to the apartment downstairs, though it didn't have the six beds and three bathrooms we'd paid for.

There's a warm, homey feel here, and the hostel is clean and cozy. It's right by the Old City walls, across from Warsaw's famous monument to the Young Insurgent, which makes the location ideal. I only wish there were another shower and toilet.
The location is great, but that was about the only upside for me. The owner took my ID card and then disappeared, so I had to go looking for her. There wasn't even a cup of tea in the apartment during our two nights. A kitchen was listed, but we had to ask for a pot. No TV or radio either. They described the setup as ascetic, which might be fair, but the price certainly wasn't. I've stayed in much friendlier places.
The room was clean and attractive, with space for six people. There was also a little kitchen, a massage shower, and Wi-Fi.
A calm spot in a great location, with a really kind and welcoming hostess. I recommend it.
