I've returned for a second business stay while working with the local Elsta factory. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the grounds are well landscaped and looked after. It's a quiet, pleasant spot next to the salt mine, with the train station only a five-minute walk away for a direct ride to the airport. The food is delicious, high quality, and filling. There are a couple of nice restaurants nearby, but in my opinion the food here is better.

We stayed at Grand Sal Hotel at the end of November last year and really enjoyed it. The restaurant's food was so delicious that by the end of supper, we were already wishing for more 😋. The rooms were very comfortable, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel sits in a beautiful, peaceful park, just a few steps from the Salt Mine.

It's a small hotel, with very clean, nicely decorated rooms. During the day, you can always see the cleaning staff in the public areas. Breakfast is very good, with a selection to suit everyone. I'll certainly stay here again.

The double bed is makeshift and comes apart while you're sleeping, and they don't provide double blankets. So I wouldn't recommend it if you plan to cuddle your wife at night 🤣. The couple running it weren't friendly. Some dishes were delicious, while others, like the duck, were rubbish. Everything else was just perfect. It's government owned, which explains it.

Right in the heart of Wieliczka beside the Salt Mine, the location is great. The room was really clean and well equipped, and the restaurant serves delicious food. Highly recommend it.
