Hotel Soray

The breakfast was generous, with scrambled eggs, sausages, cereal, and muffins. This is a stylish, modern European motel by the highway, with nicely decorated rooms that open to the outside, so you can park right in front. There's high-speed Wi-Fi, a TV, and a private bathroom in each room.

The breakfast was okay, but the hairdryer smelled burnt when I turned it on, and there was no cleaning. It's a basic place, really more of a motel, since anyone can walk straight to your door and there's no key entrance.

The quiet setting was nice, and the hotel is still close enough to the main attractions and public transport. I had a great stay at Soray Hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and my room was clean, modern, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I especially liked the peaceful feel and the beautiful mountain views from the window. Breakfast had a good mix of local and international choices, all fresh and tasty. Soray Hotel is a comfortable place with good service and a relaxing atmosphere. I'd definitely come back.

After a morning at the Wieliczka salt mine, we were ready for lunch, but nearby places were full, with people waiting outside. We checked some recommendations and ended up at Soray. There wasn't much outdoor seating, and we didn't want to take a chance on smokers, so we sat inside. A very friendly waitress welcomed us and helped us choose. The food was fresh and delicious. The kids had broth, my husband and I had zurek, and all of it was lovely. We also ordered duck with an orange-flavored sauce, which my husband was still talking about two weeks later. I had pierogy, also very tasty, while the kids had pizza and spaghetti carbonara. We were all happy with the meal and don't understand the 4.4 rating. Prices are reasonable, and the service was friendly and welcoming. I can really recommend this place. For me, it's five-star service.
