Hel-Tour Camping

The only good part of our stay was the hot water in the showers. We came with friends for just one night, thankfully, and for almost 400 PLN for one camper, I expected at least basic cleanliness. The caravan looked scary from outside; inside it smelled musty, had mold on the ceiling, and the windows were hard to open. There was a dirty, stained sheet on the bed, plus used cotton buds and contact lenses on the shelves. The sofa bed was badly assembled, so you kept falling into gaps overnight. The kettle was broken, and the fridge was dirty and smelly. When we mentioned it all, the owner agreed it was like that, saying the camper had recently hosted a party and been left that way (??!!?). We're not picky, but I can't recommend staying here unless you want to experience the approach of the "highlanders of the north" 😉

For 400 złoty I got a trailer with mold on the ceiling, and the whole place was a mess. I stayed just one night. Maybe it could work for someone with a tent, since the showers are acceptable.

A great base for active people who want to sleep in and then explore the Hel Peninsula. The owner is very friendly, and we'll be back. The trailer was clean and comfortable, the bathrooms were clean too, and the showers had hot water.

I'm rating the manager's rental rooms at number 51. The location was fine for me, and the staff were friendly. They knew I would arrive late and were already checking whether I'd make it. We were two adults and a child, though, and there wasn't a third pillow, tea cup, or cutlery set, let alone a highchair or stool. In early October the room was cold, very cold for a child. It's small and the furniture is a jumble, but what can you expect for 200 PLN a night? Breakfast was included, though I don't want to overthink it.
