Boogie Aparthouse Old Town

At least the location was good. The rest of this stay was far below an acceptable standard and wasn't worth the money. The hotel was dirty and poorly maintained, and constant outside noise made it impossible to rest. The pillows were so thin and uncomfortable that I slept terribly. Towel changes cost extra, something that wasn't made clear anywhere during booking. The front desk staff were shockingly rude and arrogant, with no basic professionalism.

The location was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. But both my friend and I ended up with itchy spots from insect bites. I hope they weren't bed bugs. Check the room before putting your bags down.

Other guests have woken me a few times in the early hours, slamming doors, talking loudly, and using the elevator over and over. It wasn't great at 03:00 or 04:00. Still, I've stayed at Boogie ApartHouse four or five times since 2023, most recently for a week, and I've never had any other problems. It's clean and comfortable, decent value for what I paid, and works well as a base in town. Rynek is just a five-minute walk away, with shops, bars, cafés and everything else nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful, and quick to respond by email.

I've never stayed in a worse hotel room. The hygiene was bad, the pillows were awful, and there were no towels for hands, face, or feet. The bath towels weren't changed either. The beds were short, only 190 cm, and were really couches topped with foam mattresses about 5 cm thick. It was terribly hot, with no air conditioning in the room. Street traffic was loud and echoed inside, including cars, trams, and trucks. I wouldn't recommend it.
