Campanile PRIME - Wroclaw Stare Miastro

We paid 300 pounds including flights for the two of us for three nights. The rooms were clean and nicely modern, right on the river, and most places in wroclaw were about a 10 to 15 minute walk away.

I was happy with my stay. The room was comfortable, big enough, and spotless, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's in a quiet area, with the center just a five-minute walk away. I didn't use the restaurant, so can't comment on it. One request, guys: put a toilet brush in every bathroom. Please don't give me the 'house policy and blablabla' explanation, just put one there.

The staff were really nice, and none of these problems were their fault. This felt like a very poor stay because of senior management or the owners. The first room lost power, and it took three trips to reception before I was moved. In the new room, the carpet had several marks that looked like vomit, the bathroom had a smell I can only describe as unholy, and one of the toilet flush buttons didn't work. My bed sloped where a spring was broken, so badly that a marble would have rolled off. The room basically wasn't fit to use. I'm disabled and have mobility issues. I was already exhausted when I arrived, and unpacking and repacking to move because of the power problem left me without the energy to complain at the time.

The friendly staff and good location were the only real positives. I've stayed in five hotels in Wroclaw, and this was the worst so far. The place feels neglected and extremely worn: dirty-looking walls, frayed carpet, and no proper bath towels. Even small basics like curtain stoppers are missing, which adds to the impression that management is cutting costs everywhere. I found a hair on the bed too, though that was minor compared with the general rundown condition and lack of investment in guest comfort. For the same price, there are plenty of better hotels in the area. If cleanliness, comfort, and decent amenities matter to you, I'd choose somewhere else.
