The breakfast was good quality and worth having, and the place can host lots of people without feeling crowded. The reception staff were friendly, though not exactly funny. I liked the special TV room on the top floor. The place was clean and had a decent kitchen, but the sofas and beds could use a proper cleaning. My bunk bed ladder had an exposed nail. Charging sockets were inadequate, and there were few kitchen utensils compared with the thousands of plates they had. During peak tourist season, I think more toilets may be needed.

The receptionists were friendly and spoke good English. They helped whenever I needed something, including laundry. The entrance is via a lift that takes you straight to reception. I had a double room to myself with a private bathroom and shower cubicle. The bathroom was clean, but the rest of the place needed a deep clean. My room wasn’t very clean either: there were marks and handprints on the wall by the bed, dust under it, and cigarette butts outside the window. The towels and sheets were so old they tore easily.

The location was great, prices were low, the bathrooms were fairly clean, and staff were quite friendly. Having a washer and dryer was handy. I think Poland is one of the most people-oriented places in the world right now, and this place seems to reflect those values. Still, there were problems: it seemed someone stole a wallet from a guy’s pocket while he was sleeping, and when I left a day early, they refused my refund request.

We were near the old city centre, and the room was spacious, with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. It was a bit dim, though. There’s no breakfast, but KFC is in the same building. Keep in mind they only take cash, no card payments. It’s a nice, affordable place, and I recommend it.
