Four Points by Sheraton Wroclaw

I’ve stayed here twice, and both visits were great. It’s clean, fairly new, and welcoming. The AC needs fixing in winter, though. Apart from that, the staff were friendly across the board, from the bartenders and front desk to housekeeping. Everyone pitched in, a really strong team. There’s a bar, restaurant, gym, and free parking on site. I’d recommend it, it’s a hidden gem.

Street parking is plentiful if you arrive by car, so there’s no need for the overpriced hotel parking, which is basically a back yard. The buffet breakfast was decent, with à la carte options too. The hotel has been freshly fitted out, but the rooms are small, and some are even smaller. The air conditioning seems to do whatever it wants, leaving the room too warm, and the windows don’t open. They charge PLN 80 if you bring a dog, but neither you nor your pet gets anything for that fee, unlike at most modern hotels. The staff are nice, though they come across as if it’s their first week on the job. They didn’t ask for a credit card at check-in, so you can’t charge anything to your room unless you go back from the restaurant to reception to add one. Orders get mixed up, and bar staff can’t find the ingredients for drinks. The food is okay, no more than that. They’ll bring it to your room for PLN 40, while Wolt and Uber charge less.

We stayed for five nights over Christmas this year and were happy with the experience. I usually have trouble sleeping away from home, but the bed and pillows were so comfortable that I slept really well. The room was very clean, the staff were kind and friendly, and breakfast was very good too. I truly recommend this hotel.

Our family room was spacious and well equipped, with a sofa bed, and the staff were friendly. We didn’t run into any of the problems mentioned in negative reviews. The hotel may be a little far from the city centre, but it was only a 10-minute walk from the family we were visiting in Wroclaw. There was plenty of free public parking nearby, though the hotel also offers paid parking on site. It has two EV chargers, and we used them on 2 out of 4 nights. Platinum guests got breakfast included, and they added complimentary breakfast for our 3 kids without any fuss. The selection was good and everything was top quality. Reception also gave us 5 vouchers for free drinks, including beer, wine, and soft drinks. For what we paid, this was one of the best hotels we stayed in this year. We’d definitely stay again when we return to beautiful Wroclaw.
