Jungle Apartments

With the bridges closed and residents stacking sandbags along the riverbanks, I can’t imagine who would have come to Wrocław as a tourist at that point, unless they were crazy. Still, the owner wouldn’t cancel or let us move the reservation for free, even though friends had changed the date of the event because of the flooding. The owner’s argument was that I should have read the weather forecast more than a week and a half earlier and predicted what would happen. Even experts couldn’t have done that then. They also said someone else might have booked the place if I’d told them sooner.

Loved the atmosphere. The bed was big, neat, and just right for a good night’s sleep.

Apartment 3 had damaged walls, a broken stove, and a bed that creaked terribly. The cleaning lady hadn’t even washed the floors there, so we had to do it ourselves. The dishes were dirty too. We stayed for the weekend from 02-05.01. The bedding was dirty, and the floor was sticky. I messaged the owner about the bedding, but it wasn’t changed. I was only told there’d been a rough New Year’s Eve and lots of damage after I called once I’d arrived. The owner did give us a second apartment, but it wasn’t much better: dirty floors, bedding with a horrible smell, no fresh towels, and no extra toilet paper. I don’t recommend it.

There was dust everywhere, and the kids even found bits of glass on the floor while running around. The door handles were coming loose, and the bathroom door needed help to close. The windows faced the road, with no blind. At first the apartment looked okay, but the kitchen had no dishcloth, dish soap, or even a knife. Maybe the reply will be that Pni didn’t book with them. That’s true, her husband booked it for our family. We stayed just one night, and wouldn’t have wanted more.
