Radisson Blu Hotel, Wroclaw

We spent New Year’s Eve here and loved being beside the park and river. The old town is only a few minutes away, but it’s noticeably noisier there, and the shortage of modern hotels in that area had put me off staying there. Our room felt modern and had a kettle and espresso machine. I also used the workout room, which was great; the spa looked lovely and was in use, though I didn’t get to try it. The front desk staff were fantastic and helped us get a great room. Booking direct apparently gives them more flexibility. Really impressive customer service, and I’d recommend it.

We were only passing through Wroclaw for a short stop, and the Radisson Blu’s convenient location made it an easy choice. The rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable. What stood out most was the team: Maryna at Reception checked us in and shared tips for the city and restaurants, while the breakfast staff were kind and efficient. I was very happy with the experience, and thought it was good value. I’d definitely recommend the hotel.

We liked it so much that we extended our stay, and we’re already making plans to come back. The room was roomy, peaceful, and comfortable, so it worked well for both relaxing and getting things done. We also enjoyed the restaurant’s excellent food and the warm housekeeping team. The reception staff were a real highlight, especially Emilia, whose kindness and local suggestions meant a lot to us. With the quiet park and river right nearby, we had lovely walks and came back feeling refreshed.

I’ve travelled all over and stayed in plenty of hotels for business, so I wasn’t expecting much after a bad previous visit to Wroclaw. This stay changed my mind. The Radisson blue team here are amazing. They’re professional and courteous, and people at reception, the restaurant and the bar speak English. When you know staff by their first names, it really makes the stay feel special. Aga from guest relations did everything she could to make me happy, so she was the most important person for me. Daria, my favourite at the bar, Ivan and German were great too, as were receptionists Zofia and Max. I had issues with my room, and the technicians did a great job. The chef is very good and the food was delicious. The breakfast selection could be different, but there’s always good, fresh food. The gym is terrible, though it doesn’t matter if you’re disciplined enough. My one regret is not learning the cleaners’ names. They’re often unseen and deserve plenty of credit. Management or the owners should be happy with the service here. It’s not the best hotel in the world, but I’ll definitely come back for business.
