The Cyrus Hotel

The location is hard to beat: just a short walk to the square and a few steps to the island, where Michelin and TOP POLAND recommended restaurants abound. I was also delighted by the underground parking, which kept the snow outside from becoming a problem for my car. I felt truly at home during my wonderful night at this new hotel last week. The room was planned with comfort and style in mind, from the lights and switches to the elegant bathroom with Villeroy & Boch ceramics. As someone who uses real milk in tea, finding actual milk pods in the refrigerator was a lovely surprise. The bed and linen were marvelously comfortable, and I slept wonderfully. Breakfast was truly outstanding. Maria at the bar was a pleasure to talk to and gave sweet, smiling service. Reception and the rest of the service may still need some improvement, but the intent to do things well is clear in the hotel and its lovely people. Five stars from me, and I'll surely return, perhaps more than once.

The location is very handy, close to Rynek, and we had a very comfortable, clean stay. The breakfast spread was generous and delicious, while the furnishings and decor in the room felt thoughtful and tasteful. The staff were always ready to help with anything we needed, and it was nice meeting the owner. Just make sure the Polish and English versions of the bar menu match. We’d happily stay again. Ali the owner was so generous, and Max at reception and Aga among the bar staff helped make me feel welcome as a solo guest. The whole team looked after me really well. My room was spotless, the bed was wonderfully cozy, and the robes, towels, and hot shower were all great. The food was world class, with a sophisticated range of cocktails and wine. The building’s architecture is stunning, and the location made an impression right away. Taxi drop off and pick up at the door were easy. A wonderful place for solo travelers and groups alike, and I can’t recommend it enough in Wrocław.
