Business Hotel Vega

The breakfast buffet was good, but we won’t be coming back. The room was warm, there was no air conditioning, and traffic noise came in when we opened the window. We asked to have the room cleaned, but it hadn’t been done by the time we returned at night. The diapers in the rubbish had started to smell, so we had to take the garbage outside the door ourselves. When we asked reception for fresh towels, we got just one for four people. The receptionist said she wasn’t allowed to give us more. The hospitality simply wasn’t there.

The tram connection to the city centre was handy. Tram No.11, for example, takes about 15 minutes. I especially want to mention the kind woman with glasses at reception. People like her are rare to find. The hotel is a standard three-star place, but staying here had some drawbacks. Parking in front costs 40 zl per night, and there’s no fridge in the room. The AC only worked on the first day. After that the room was unbearably hot, and opening the window brought in noise from the busy street. Breakfast is 59 zl. We didn’t try it, and from what I saw, it didn’t seem worth the price.

The location worked really well for us, with Wroclaw town Square nearby and a lidil right on the doorstep. Our room faced lidil and the traffic, but we never heard a thing. It was spotless and cleaned nearly every day, and fresh towels or anything else we needed were never a problem. We stayed five nights and couldn’t fault the place. From reception onwards, every member of staff was friendly and couldn’t have been nicer. I’d definitely stay again. A big thank you to everyone.

The rooms were comfortable, the hotel was good overall, and breakfast was delicious. But the door locks and hotel cards were awful. You need a lot of patience to get the card to work. Once it took me 50 tries before I could get into my room. Just horrible!
