The rooms were modern and fairly clean, and the location was central. Underground parking was available, though a bit expensive. We asked for two rooms on the same floor since we were a family, but got split up onto different floors at opposite ends of the building. The lift card system was odd and made it impossible to visit each other, and communication with the administrators was difficult.

German guy visiting the hotel at the end of July 2024. Booking seemed fine at first, but when we arrived they told us to check for an SMS we were supposed to have received. The booking said we’d pay on arrival, and once we paid, they sent a room code. The receptionist was really annoyed with us, which gave us a bad feeling straight away. It was 2 pm, so we asked if we could put our bags in the room before check-in. No, the doors would only open at 3. We could leave our bags at reception, but only until 10 pm because the receptionist left then. We left them and went out. When we came back at night, we had to find a guy in the basement to unlock the fourth floor in the elevator. The SMS code opened the room door, but what we found was shocking. At first the room looked alright, but the bed wasn’t king-size, and it was dirty. The mattress was dirty, while the blankets looked okay. The back of the bed was disgusting, with gray debris and greasy yellow-orange spots on beige fabric. I felt like throwing up. The chair and curtains were dirty too. There were only two towels in the bathroom, and one had orange spots, so we had just one usable towel. The sink hadn’t been cleaned, and the shower door wasn’t in place. There was almost nothing in the room, just a little low-quality shampoo. No water or hygiene items. I expected a lot and was hugely disappointed. The room looked nothing like the photos. I wish I could post pictures so people could see the mess. If I’d booked two nights, I would have looked for another hotel, even if I still had to pay for this one. Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else, or you’ll regret it. Thanks, bye.

There was no room for me when I arrived at 5 pm, even though I had a reservation. They refused to cancel it and wouldn’t give me a manager’s contact. The staff seemed indifferent and even found the situation funny instead of helping me find a solution. I’ve worked in hotels myself, and the lack of compassion and the poor customer service appalled me. Nobody tried to rebook me at another hotel. It was an unforgettable and regrettable experience, and I expect hotel management to contact me about it. Very disappointing. Avoid this place at all costs.

Finding the place was confusing, though its position is ideal if you want to be near the old town. Parking costs an extra $12. The building has plenty of restaurants to choose from for dinner, plus tasty Czech beer. We only stayed one night; the room was clean and had everything we needed.
