The location is great, and the desk staff were friendly and professional. I was very happy with the place and would highly recommend it, even with a few small issues. For the price, the rooms are a bit noisy. I could hear my neighbors snoring early in the morning, and earlier I heard them taking a long, late shower, almost as if the water was running through the walls.
4/10
We arrived to find that after we washed our hands and used soap, the water had turned completely brown. Apparently there were issues with the hotel's old pipes. Since my wife is pregnant, we definitely didn't feel okay staying in that room. If they'd mentioned this when we arrived, we might have found it acceptable. At first, when we raised it with reception, they brushed us off with, "It'll be fixed, don't worry." We went out for lunch, then came back set on moving to another hotel. When I raised it again and said we'd leave, the staff offered us a room in the 4* hotel attached to the same building. We accepted after some discussion, and the rest of the visit went very well. Those rooms were lovely and rather classy. If you're considering this hotel, make sure you get a room on the "Park" side, not the old side.
10/10
The staff were friendly, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Parking was available, and breakfast was excellent.
10/10
I was there for just one night (28/29.05.2025), and it was a very positive stay. The room was spotless, and the Reception service was really nice and helpful. I'd definitely recommend it, especially for a business trip.
8/10
The service was lovely, and the rooms were nice and clean. I paid under £50 for two nights, so it was great value. In room 409, the shower temperature needs to stay more consistent, and a power socket or USB charger by the bed would be useful.
