Apartamenty na Galicówce

The owner was really helpful, and the accommodation was great for the price :) Everything was 1*.

The owners were friendly, and the setting was quiet. The apartments are lovely, clean, and stylish, with the main tourist spots within reach. Buses to the center ran regularly.

The room was clean and had good amenities, but that’s where the positives ended. The lady was very rude. We’d barely put our luggage down when she asked for money at the door, then kept demanding cash. At the end, she asked, “Could we please take out the trash from the kitchen?” She also checked thoroughly to see whether we’d stolen anything from the apartment. We were charged extra for an additional person, even though Booking.com charges the same for all guests. When we pointed that out, the owner gave absurd arguments to justify the fee, then said that if we didn’t like it, we could pack up and leave. There’s a two-bay car repair shop on the building’s ground floor, so expect knocking, banging, and the hum of a lift in the mountains. The WiFi was practically nonexistent. When I mentioned that, the owner replied, “It's not my fault it's working because it's wireless.” The whole experience was very, very bad. The lady who dealt with us should reconsider her tone and vocabulary, because neither had anything to do with hospitality. I definitely don’t recommend this place. You can find much better accommodation for this price. After I posted this review, the owner sent me an embarrassing text message, which only confirmed my impression of the place’s culture.

Our “highlander” apartment was spotless, spacious, and decorated so nicely. The views were beautiful too. We highly recommend these apartments 🙂 Best wishes to Mr. Marcin's lovely, helpful mother 😘
