The property is inside a compound with a car entrance and an outer gate. The cabin I stayed in was upstairs, with a staircase shared with the neighbor, though each of us had a separate apartment and door. It seemed like someone's home, with personal-looking things such as kitchen utensils, living room items, books, and other things on the tables. The place was nice overall. If booking through Booking.com, expect to wait an hour for the coordinator to arrive. Booking.com sends the security code for the entrance and apartment door. The coordinator collects a deposit and returns it at checkout. Paying cash is probably best so you can get it back straight away, God willing.

Great place. There are plenty of interesting back roads and spots around Zakopane if you take the time to find them. Krupówki is a three-hour uphill walk, so keep that in mind. I have an apartment here myself, and I recommend it if you enjoy that walk. In summer, the Tour de Pologne goes right past the house.

The host was very kind and helpful, and suggested several nice places to visit with a child around Zakopane. We were very pleased with the cottage, which had everything we needed and matched its description. The location is great and the views are beautiful 😍 I recommend it.

I can't recommend this. Renters, who manage our apartment, provided below-par service, and the resident phone line was useless because nobody answered. We were also short on basics like trash bags, toilet paper, and even a single sheet, though I didn't report those. The main problem came in the first few days: the toilet broke while I was cleaning it. I reported it right away, but less than an hour after checkout I was told I'd be charged 300 PLN for repairs, and the amount was immediately taken from my card. Staff said the landlord is fully responsible for the apartment, so a burst pipe, broken washing machine or induction cooker, or a storm-related power surge could all become your problem. You could lose valuable free time trying to communicate with staff, who only respond by chat, and still end up paying for the repairs.
