Apartamenty Tomusik

The room is wonderfully furnished, and the heating works on cold evenings. But I can only give it three stars because people upstairs woke us at 7:00. We’re on the ground floor, and we don’t know exactly who was up there, but they seemed to be moving furniture, slamming doors and running around. The noise was very loud, almost unbearable, and it had already been going on for two hours with no sign of stopping. After a hard day in the mountains, that’s no way to wake up, and it’s not a good start if you want to feel rested for the day ahead.

A cosy room for four at a very good price, in a great location close to the center of Zakopane.

Tomusik House was quiet and pleasant, and I’d recommend it for a short or longer break. Our two-room apartment was clean, and it was clear the guesthouse had been renovated. Although it’s close to the main street, the building stays peaceful, without tourist noise or other disturbances. There’s a milk bar next door where you can have breakfast or lunch, and parking for guests near Tomusik House. The one thing I missed was seeing the owners so I could thank them for their hospitality.

It was clean and nice inside, with plenty of lovely wood. Our two-room apartment had a mini kitchen and a bathroom. The location was great, breakfast at the milk bar next door was convenient, and there was good parking. Despite being in the city, it was quiet. I recommend it.
