Aparthotel Pod Nosalem

For a budget overnight stay, this place is just right. It's quiet and a little off the beaten track, with clean, tidy rooms and bathrooms that are quite well equipped. There's a Żabka across the street and a restaurant nearby. I highly recommend it.

The location was excellent, with a view of Nosal Mountain, a slope opposite, a "Żabka" store and three restaurants nearby. The room was nice and had a kitchenette. But the third floor, which is also the top floor, smelled like a mix of dead mice, martens and chemicals. The smell was only on that floor. A saucepan left unwashed by previous guests had gone moldy, and the staff hadn't noticed it. There were odd stains on the bathroom wall beside the toilet, and there was no hairdryer. The ski room was open until 8 p.m.

We stayed two nights around the end of November and start of December without heating. The cold woke us during the first night, and it makes me wonder how a family arriving with a child would manage. There was no proper assistance or emergency response. The receptionist came with a tool, moved something around and said it would work, but it didn't. They said it was a mistake and insisted the radiator was working. They gave us the owner's number, saying he was available, but he didn't answer calls or texts. We should have insisted on a refund then and there. There was no refund, and no consideration for guests. I agree with the comment about noise. We also had drunk people banging on the door, and reception did nothing. DO NOT RECOMMEND, NO HEATING OR ASSISTANCE IN CASE OF A BREAKDOWN/NO REFUND.

Right across from the Nosal ski resort, this place is clean, pleasant and well equipped, with WiFi and TVs in every room. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I'd recommend it, especially for families with children.
