The cabin was filthy, and everything seemed to need maintenance. There was no staff, no manners, and no privacy. The owner came inside without permission while we were wearing headscarves and watched us. He was rude, shouted, didn’t speak English, and showed no respect to Muslims. The security deposits weren’t refunded, and instead the amount we had to pay went up many times over. It felt like they had a scenario ready to protect themselves. This was one of the worst experiences of our trip, and the cabin made me hate the trip, especially as a family. I absolutely don’t recommend risking it. It wasn’t worth the time or experience. 👎🏻👎🏻

My friends and I booked a cottage for 11 people about a month before our stay. The booking seemed to go smoothly, and we gave our phone number and email. We asked about the deposit, and the landlord said we’d pay it on arrival, even though we were happy to arrange it straight away. A few days before leaving, we called to confirm, only to learn the cottage had been rented to someone else because we hadn’t paid the deposit. The landlord had emailed us, but it went straight to spam, and she didn’t think to call. First she claimed WE weren’t coming, so she had to rent it out. Unserious behavior. Highly recommended.

The owner was unreliable and canceled our reservation just days before arrival because there was no deposit, even though she’d previously assured us she wouldn’t accept one due to restrictions. Communication about the booking was ineffective, agreed details were later canceled, and she showed little seriousness toward potential guests.

The owners run a pizzeria with delicious pizza, and the cottage itself has lovely views. There’s a big shelter beside it with a barbecue area. The fireplace makes it feel cozy, and I recommend the place for families or groups of friends. :)
