You can walk to the nearest ski lift in about 10 minutes, and there’s a safe sledding spot for kids right beside the house. The views stretch across Zakopane and the Tatra Mountains, and shops are close by. Restaurants take a little more effort, but are usually only a short drive away. Inside, everything is tastefully done in a cozy mountain-chalet style, with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The private jacuzzi is a great extra and is well maintained. A beautiful place for a holiday.

The views of the Tatras and Zakopane are incredible, especially at night, since the chalets sit right above the town. Photos don’t do the scenery or the chalets justice, and the standard is very high. There are two detached chalets, each with two lovely bedrooms upstairs and an open-plan kitchen and living room downstairs, opening onto a balcony. The bathroom is a good size and has a shower, but no bath. I’m here with my six-year-old son, and there’s plenty for him to do. The garden has a playground for summer, and there’s a grill house at the other end that’s just for guests to use, for a barbecue or dinner. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful, with few houses nearby, so it works for families or a romantic stay. Gubałówka, a popular mountain attraction with restaurants, local shops, and views of the Tatras and Zakopane, is only 15 minutes away. Host Ewa and her husband are caring and happy to help if you need anything. I recommend this place 100%!
