I wasn't sure about booking because of the reviews, but gave it a try for three days. My room was cozy and clean, and I really liked it. The people were nice and kind, breakfast was good, and they have a pool and sauna.

The food at the Helios Hotel restaurant was excellent, but the reception staff were rude and unprofessional. I asked where the toilet was and the receptionist was dismissive. The signs were confusing, with two women's signs on one door. After my meal, I pointed it out, but she ignored my feedback and said she doesn't use the toilet herself. That lack of courtesy left me disappointed.

A mountain view is a real plus if you're lucky enough to get a room with one, and there's a lovely children's playground near the hotel. The room itself was small and cheaply furnished, with an ancient bathroom. There's no AC or lift, and the WiFi is really bad.

We've stayed here several times, and the location works perfectly for us. It's an easy walk to the main drag but set away from it, and close to the bus and railway stations and all the minibus services. The restaurant has a wide choice of very good food at reasonable prices. Rooms are fine, clean, warm, and comfortable, with a fantastic view if you choose one facing the mountains. Free parking too.

The beds were comfortable, and the hotel was clean and quiet, with a mountain view from every room. I’d recommend staying here. The bathroom was the one drawback for me: it’s really small, and as a bigger-built person I struggled with the space around the toilet. The sink was also very low.
