The owner was very approachable and helpful, and parking is available on site. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to the bus station and 5-10 minutes to Kropowki. The cosy, open-plan room has a small toilet and shower, a kettle, electric hob, and sink, plus access to a little private garden with chairs, a table, and a barbeque. There’s also a larger room with a bathtub and an appartment available. A good choice if you’re staying more than two or three days and don’t want to walk along the main Kropowki street every day.

The host was really friendly and helpful, and the apartment was comfortable, clean, and nice. It’s well placed for both trips in Tatra and visiting Zakopane.

We’d booked a room for five nights through booking com and had written that we expected to arrive around 21-22. When we got there, nobody was waiting for us, we couldn’t find the host, and there were no phone numbers to call. We rang the bells, but no one answered, so we found somewhere else and made a reservation within minutes. They only take cash, not cards. Awful place, I don’t recommend it.

Opening the big window in this house felt like stepping into a paradise garden! I’ve got lovely memories of it, I love the place. I recommend visiting zakopane in winter!

The floor was really cold at night, even in July, and there was dust and a few spiders in a corner of the room. The photos don’t quite match what it’s like in person. The yard is small, around 3x5m.
