I booked rooms for 12 of us on Booking.com for my birthday, with free cancellation until January 14. Our flights were cancelled, so I cancelled all the rooms. On January 12, £178 was taken from my account, which I noticed on January 14. Booking.com told me two rooms hadn't been cancelled, though I'm sure they had been, and it seemed like a system glitch since the flights were cancelled. They contacted the owner to ask for an exception and a refund, but got no response. I messaged the owner directly and was told Booking.com's rules applied and he wouldn't refund me. That's very poor customer service. Now I have to book rooms for 12 people somewhere else for May. The hotel kept £178 for a stay we never had, and will lose at least £1,000 in new bookings from us, since we like to spend money. Be careful to check that a cancellation through Booking.com actually goes through.

A great place, with clean, warm, lovely rooms and absolutely gorgeous views!

A disaster. They didn't change the towels. The only man working there would come for five minutes each morning and leave a roll of toilet paper in the corridor. We couldn't communicate with him because he doesn't speak English. We were treated like animals in a forest.

A disaster. It was hard to communicate with anyone in English, and they expected us to use the same towel for five days.

The rooms were clean and warm, and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and found the service very friendly. There's a fully equipped kitchen and a great jacuzzi. A shop and bus stop are close by. We highly recommend it!
