We enjoyed both the food and the service. The dishes tasted homemade and were really good, and everything came out quickly. Prices are better than at other places. It would help if the menu were translated into English. I’d recommend it and would come back, thanks!

We stopped in just for dinner. Service was good and the food arrived quickly. The pancakes were excellent, and both the local zurek soup and the goulash with potatoes were very good. The fish was dry and tasteless, though. We were tired, so we didn’t complain.

The staff were young and smiley, there’s a Żabka shop in the basement, and parking is available. The location is busy and worked for us on foot: 2.5 km to the city and 3 km to Kużnice and the mountains. We had a big room with three beds, a sofa, dining table, TV and two balconies. Breakfast was a generous buffet with lots of choice, including cold meats, sausages, vegetables, cheese, spreads, eggs, fish, butter, different breads, a toaster, pancakes, coffee and tea. You can also get lunch and dinner. The portions are large and the food is delicious, though pricier than downtown. The bed was much too soft for me and really hurt my back. The room was under a pitched roof, and we had to pull the double bed out of a corner into the middle because two people couldn’t sleep there otherwise. The staff member who spoke a few words of English made it hard to sort things out. We weren’t given the wifi password or told which keys opened which doors, we ran out of toilet paper, and there was no hair dryer. It helped that we knew a few words of Polish. There’s no room bin, only a small one in the toilet, and during our five-day stay there was no cleaning. We took the rubbish to the large bin in the yard ourselves. Parking was awkward because of the shop. A little bathroom heating would have helped dry towels and wet hiking clothes on the colder September evenings. All in all, not a bad place for the money.

The rooms were tidy, bright, clean and very good. The location is nice too, with a great restaurant and good food.
