Zawoja Pod Grapa

Thank you for a lovely stay. It’s a peaceful place and a great spot to relax.

I was left without a place to stay when another person let me down, and the owner took me in. My room was warm, with clean sheets, hot water, and a little refrigerator. There’s a kitchen beside the room, though some guests don’t tidy up after themselves there. Thank you so much!

Getting here is easy, and there’s plenty of parking. The hosts are polite but leave you to yourself. The rooms and bedding were clean and well kept. What makes the location especially good is that it’s genuinely close to the trailhead, which you still have to drive to at Krowianka. Zawoja is 10 kilometers long, so places advertised as being at the foot of Babia Góra can actually be many kilometers from the trail. Mosorna Groń and restaurants are also very close. I recommend it.

For the price, it’s good value. Our room was spacious and clean, with a private bathroom and comfortable beds, and the shared kitchen had everything we needed. There aren’t many power outlets in the room, but that’s a small issue. Service was the downside: we never saw the owner, and the owner’s tipsy son kept serving us and pestering us, along with the workers who live on the premises.
