Hotel Porto-Fino

The food and atmosphere both deserve a strong 4+. It works well for a romantic date, lunch with friends, or a business meeting, and the location is great too. It’s closer to a 5 than a 4 for me, so I’m giving it the top rating and a big recommendation.

The restaurant food I tried was fresh and good, and the staff were helpful and nice. The interior was all right too. I only stopped briefly, and the monumental gate made a great first impression, though the hotel building itself didn’t live up to it. The surroundings could use some improvement.

We stopped here to use the Supercharger, but the door was shut and we couldn’t get to the toilet. A woman at the counter saw us and still didn’t open up. It was 5°C, so my kids and I had to go behind a bush. Some welcome.

After driving a few hundred kilometers, I really needed a toilet while charging at the Tesla Superchargers. Poland only has a few of them, and the hotel and restaurant happened to be closed. One of the two staff members there said so. The toilet was right by the entrance. A male staff member kindly let me in, but a female staff member cleaning the doors stopped us and said I couldn’t use it, even though it was obvious how badly I needed to pee. He apologized and sent me back out. That was so unkind. If the WC is unavailable, including because the staff won’t let people use it, why have a Tesla charger here? If the business keeps doing this badly, at least hire kinder staff.
