The rental process was very smooth, and I got all the details I needed by phone. The apartment itself was clean and well equipped. It’s close to everything, with plenty of parking in the complex, though you do have to find a space. There’s also an elevator, which is a real plus. I’ll use this place again if I need somewhere to stay in Zielona Góra.

I didn’t meet any staff during my stay, which suited me. The whole booking was through Booking, and the entry codes and precise location came by text on time. You use a code for both the room and the building door. The only real issue was poor signal in the area, though the building’s free Wi-Fi helped. There’s an elevator, and the neighborhood is quiet, with a forest and playground nearby. Shops are easy to get to, including Biedronka, Aldi, Dino, Frogs, Pepco, plus a pizzeria, flower shop, butcher, and fruit stands. Inside, the room was cozy and had a big comfortable bed, with large bedside tables and laptops on both sides. The lighting had a nice atmosphere. There was a big TV with internet, armchairs, and a coffee table, as well as a small kitchenette. It had a counter, two chairs, cupboards, a fridge, dishwasher, and sink. The cupboards held all the basics: plates, bowls, cutlery, pots, chopping boards, cups and glasses, even paper shopping bags. There was a coffee maker with two inserts too. The balcony was roomy, with a table and two chairs. In the bathroom were a toilet, sink, and rain shower, with toilet paper and soap provided. Towels, a bath mat, vacuum cleaner, and hairdryer were available as well. I stayed three nights and had nothing to complain about. I’d highly recommend it ❤️

I’m not someone who normally writes reviews, especially negative ones, but I feel I was treated unfairly and want to explain what happened. I booked an apartment on Sunday morning, then found out a few hours later that I couldn’t make it. I canceled at noon the same day. My stay wasn’t due to start until 4 PM Tuesday, so there were still almost two days for them to make other arrangements. The owners didn’t reply until 6 PM Monday, and then said there would be no refund. I tried to work it out amicably through Booking.com so both sides could be satisfied, but they wouldn’t offer even a partial refund. In the end, I drove 400 km and stayed at least one night so my money wouldn’t go to waste. The apartment itself was very nice, but the price still felt outrageous. I understand that everyone can have a bad day and that businesses have their own rules. Still, I think the owners acted unconscionably here. Sometimes people simply can’t arrive, and when they cancel the same day and ask for their money back, I think at least part of it should be refunded. Their response struck me as cunning and greedy.

The room seemed to have potential, but the photos on Booking.com made it look much nicer than it was. It was clean, yet smelled strongly of mold and damp, and the walls were battered. The sofa had stains and strange secretions on it, while the kitchen plates felt old and greasy. I tried buying incense to deal with the smell, but it didn’t help. The towels in the sealed set were unsightly and torn. There was no bulb in the kitchen, and the bedroom lampshade was broken. I found the place neglected, and the lack of comfort led me to book somewhere else before 10 p.m. that same day. It’s not for anyone very discerning. Best regards!
