The restaurant food is tasty, and breakfast is outstanding. The place is spotless and very well looked after, with friendly, helpful staff. Thanks, Alina! It’s also in a very convenient spot. In some rooms, though, you might hear street noise if you like sleeping with the window open.

The interiors are lovely, and the terrace and restaurant have a great feel, with good music and a gorgeous layout. Outside there are olive trees and a fireplace, while inside the pub has a classy inn feel, only much nicer. It’s pet friendly, the staff are cheerful, the bed linens are quality, and municipal parking is just a few yards or meters away. Handy for both downtown and the train station. I’ll be back.

We stopped at Retro for dinner while on holiday and had a lovely meal. The portions were generous and the food excellent, and there’s a great outdoor area. I’d recommend it even if you’re dining alone while waiting for your next train. Wonderful restaurant.

The portions are huge, so after the main dish I never have room for dessert. Prices are affordable and fair, and the food is great. I loved the service and superb atmosphere too. A lovely place for an evening with friends or family, definitely worth a visit.

Right across from the train station, Retro is a cosy, pleasant place with nice decor. The menu has traditional Polish food like tartar, pierogi and placek po wiegersku, along with pasta and steak. Prices seem reasonable to me, and the service is generally good.
